Project workflow 01—03

Workflow schematic · not experimental data

Culture techniques support the drug studies involving Naegleria fowleri and the HeLa cell line.

Investigating Naegleria fowleri

Naegleria fowleri
drug-susceptibility studies

I investigate six CDC-identified candidate drugs against Naegleria fowleri, designing and running drug-susceptibility assays with culture techniques and flow cytometry to evaluate potential treatments for primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM).

I use fluorescence-bead assays to monitor single-drug and combination-drug efficacy.

Cell cultureFlow cytometryDrug assays

Laboratory research into potential treatments for primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM).

Targeting Staphylococcus aureus biofilms

CRISPR &
phage-therapy research

I perform CRISPR-mediated gene editing and viral infection assays for an ongoing phage-therapy research program targeting Staphylococcus aureus biofilms, following validated protocols for biological sample processing and testing.

I maintain detailed laboratory records and quality-control documentation to support data integrity and reproducibility across all experiments.
